=========================================================================== (Build 1098) - Fixed a bug - changes to POP3.dll file. =========================================================================== (Build 1097) - Tweak - changed all copyright references to 2004. - Fixed a bug - if an SMTP authentication method failed, Courier would not try any other (lesser) methods. This was contrary to the RFC spec. =========================================================================== (Build 1096) - Tweak - Made some changes to make DBTool more forgiving for 2GB mailboxes. If a mailbox is past the high-water mark of 1.95MB, then DBTool will go into "cleanup" mode as it processes the box. This means that it will remove any messages from the Wastebasket as well as from the Junkyard folder. =========================================================================== (Build 1095) - Tweak - If the server doesn't respond to the "QUIT" command for SMTP, then we just ignore the fact that we didn't get an OK. (This is a fix for SBC's server.) - Tweak - Added check for when mailbox is approaching the 2GB mark. Two different prompts (one at 1.75GB and the other at 1.95GB) to urge the user to clean house. =========================================================================== (Build 1094) - Tweak - Reworked the recvlist to better handle server that don't support UIDL. (Still needs alot of testing) - Fixed a bug - White list filtering would blow up if the From address was NULL - Fixed a bug - retrieving a message with a RFC822 part wasn't marking it in the state as MTYPE_MESSAGE. This was causing some messages with forwarded message attachments to show up as inline - Fixed bug - Some malformed message header info would cause a crash - New Feature - Added ability to include a mail template to compose with on the command line for command-line initiated (or automated) emails. - Tweak - Added a progress dialog when closing the app to show that messages are being deleted from the wastebasket. This *could* be time consuming, and it would appear that Courier has closed when it has not. =========================================================================== (Build 1093) - Tweak - filter that moves to a folder and reassigns wouldn't update the message in the summary list if you were in the list at that time. - Fixed bug - problem using the Overlay for Favorites for T&C address books =========================================================================== (Build 1092) - Tweak - Changed "New Mail" dialog back to where it does not close after 15 seconds automatically. Option can be enabled under the Mailbox -> Properties menu on the Advanced Settings tab. - Fixed bug - some message bodies were getting attached as an untitled.txt file. =========================================================================== (Build 1091) - Tweak - Disabled TAB functionality while composing HTML messages on Windows 98. TAB is undefined so Courier would insert four non-breaking space characters ( ) when the tab key is hit. There is now a bug in the MS HTML rendering engine that crashes when we insert that in place of a TAB. - Fixed bug - a new mass mailer is sending HTML messages with only a CR/LF in the plain text body. In this case, it appeared to have a plain text body so tag stripping would not take place. Now, tags are stripped in the plain text body is empty or consists only of the CR/LF combination. =========================================================================== (Build 1090) - Tweak - Updated Courier Guide to be fully searchable. - Fixed bug - Importing RFC messages without a FROM ??? line at the start of the file would fail. - Fixed bug. AOL-sent HTML messages with inline images did not include a file extension, which exposed a bug we had in saving the file in that case. Also added code to derive the file extension based on the MIME content type. - Feature (Security) - Added code to warn the user if they recieve an attachment with an extension that does not match the stated MIME type of the file in the attachment header. This should help prevent viruses that include an
